Chicken Pox the 8th day

Yes, we have gone thru the toughest week of chicken pox. Now is the relaxing part, just wait for the blisters to dry and disappear.

Cody is very relax now, sleep soundly at night. No more complain about itchy or painful.

She is looking forward to go back to school next week. She is looking forward to eat and drink freely next week............

Chicken Pox 3rd, and 4th day

Cody was unable to sleep on the 2nd night, the blister was so itchy and hurting her too. She was crying and kept going to toilet till 3am that morning.

She woke up at 12pm on 1 Aug 08, and felt much better. I went to market to buy herbs for her to shower to reduce the itchy. She was happy in the afternoon after the shower.

The blisters were drying up on the 4th day, 2 Aug 08. She has no more fever and in good mood. We let her have Macdonald hot cake for brunch. And, played monopoly with her. Dinner was pork porriedge.

She was upset when we told her she cannot join her daddy for movie at night. she cried that it is so bored at home........... Sigh...... what to do????

What is Chicken Pox?

Chickenpox is a common illness among kids, particularly those under age 12. An itchy rash of spots that look like blisters can appear all over the body and may be accompanied by flu-like symptoms. Symptoms usually go away without treatment, but because the infection is very contagious, an infected child should stay home and rest until the symptoms are gone.

Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV). Kids can be protected from VZV by getting the chickenpox (varicella) vaccine, usually between the ages of 12 to 15 months. In 2006, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended a booster shot at 4 to 6 years old for further protection. The CDC also recommends that people 13 years of age and older who have never had chickenpox or received chickenpox vaccine get two doses of the vaccine at least 28 days apart.

A person usually has only one episode of chickenpox, but VZV can lie dormant within the body and cause a different type of skin eruption later in life called shingles (or herpes zoster). Getting the chickenpox vaccine significantly lowers your child's chances of getting chickenpox, but he or she may still develop shingles later.

Symptoms of Chickenpox
Chickenpox causes a red, itchy rash on the skin that usually appears first on the abdomen or back and face, and then spreads to almost everywhere else on the body, including the scalp, mouth, nose, ears, and genitals.

The rash begins as multiple small, red bumps that look like pimples or insect bites. They develop into thin-walled blisters filled with clear fluid, which becomes cloudy. The blister wall breaks, leaving open sores, which finally crust over to become dry, brown scabs.

Chickenpox blisters are usually less than a quarter of an inch wide, have a reddish base, and appear in bouts over 2 to 4 days. The rash may be more extensive or severe in kids who have skin disorders such as eczema.

Some kids have a fever, abdominal pain, sore throat, headache, or a vague sick feeling a day or 2 before the rash appears. These symptoms may last for a few days, and fever stays in the range of 100°–102° Fahrenheit (37.7°–38.8° Celsius), though in rare cases may be higher. Younger kids often have milder symptoms and fewer blisters than older children or adults.

Typically, chickenpox is a mild illness, but can affect some infants, teens, adults, and people with weak immune systems more severely. Some people can develop serious bacterial infections involving the skin, lungs, bones, joints, and the brain (encephalitis). Even kids with normal immune systems can occasionally develop complications, most commonly a skin infection near the blisters.

Anyone who has had chickenpox (or the chickenpox vaccine) as a child is at risk for developing shingles later in life, and up to 20% do. After an infection, VZV can remain inactive in nerve cells near the spinal cord and reactivate later as shingles, which can cause tingling, itching, or pain followed by a rash with red bumps and blisters. Shingles is sometimes treated with antiviral drugs, steroids, and pain medications, and in May 2006 the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a vaccine to prevent shingles in people 60 and older.

Contagiousness
Chickenpox is contagious from about 2 days before the rash appears and lasts until all the blisters are crusted over. A child with chickenpox should be kept out of school until all blisters have dried, usually about 1 week. If you're unsure about whether your child is ready to return to school, ask your doctor.

Chickenpox is very contagious — most kids with a sibling who's been infected will get it as well, showing symptoms about 2 weeks after the first child does. To help keep the virus from spreading, make sure your kids wash their hands frequently, particularly before eating and after using the bathroom. And keep a child with chickenpox away from unvaccinated siblings as much as possible.

People who haven't had chickenpox also can catch it from someone with shingles, but they cannot catch shingles itself. That's because shingles can only develop from a reactivation of VZV in someone who has previously had chickenpox.

Chicken Pox Day 2 (31 July 08)

Around 7am, she has medicine and fall in sleep again, slight fever and noticed a lot of blister pop up! Nearly to 50 and mainly at her back, chest and stomach. Cody cried that she looks very ugly now. : (

9.30am, breakfast. She has good appetite, took 3 slices of bread and 1 cup of chocolate milk. After breakfast, is her leisure time to watch TV. : )

Lunch we had noodles, took her medicine at 2pm.

Her classmate passed her all the home work this afternoon. She was busy for her home work till 5.30pm.

She was a bit frustratrate because of rashes and blisters which is hurt and itchy. She is trying very hard to tolerate the discomfort. My poor little girl.

Dinner, I tried to cook something she likes to make her happy and she showed good appetite. : )

Medicine on 8.30pm and she slept around 10.30pm.

I have to feed her another time of medicine at 2am ...

Chicken Pox Day 1 on 30th July 08

Day 1

6.30 am fever 38 degree. Noticed 1 blister on her palm, 1 at her scalp.

11.45 am fever down to 37 degree. 2 more blisters at her back and the other at her tight. Discovered red dots on her inner cheeks

Lunch we had porridge and soya sauce only. : ) No fever. Medicine taken at 12. 30 pm. She rest for the whole afternoon on the recliner chair and watching TV at the same time. She drank plenty of water.

Dinner we had fried mee hoon and chicken wings. She still can have chicken wings for the first few days. Took medicine at 7pm, no fever. she slept at 10.20pm.

I have to wake her up at 1 am to take medicine......

The medicine recommended by doctor is to tone down the blister/chicken pox, although it is expensive. : 0

Yes, no joke! Cody was diagnosed with chicken pox today!

She was having fever on Monday evening. She was alright on Tuesday, but few blister pop up this morning on her palm, back, leg and head. Initially, we thot it could be hand, foot, mouth disease but lucky it is not.

Well, today is her first day of chicken pox. I have called my dad and sister to check what chicken pox patience should eat and how should I take care of her. They told me to give her plenty of water and barley water to cool her body down.

So, I'm going to record down her days living with chicken pox in separate post.

Today, I contacted my 2 ex-colleagues, they left previous company and started their own business. They are doing well, busy and happy with their dreams come true. Lucky them, of course they have been working very hard too. Congratulations to them and wish them all the best and prosperous in they new endeavour!

As for me, I resigned and stay at home as 'domestic engineer' since Jan 07. 1 and 1/2 year gone and I found myself do nothing in this period. What I had planed before I resigned was unsuccessful and I felt that I'm wasting my life! I'm quite depress everytime I think of this. : (

What exactly I have lack of? Time, energy, money, network, confidence or luck? I think I have none of them, I was unable to let go of my worry and burden. I'm stucked with my plan now, sigh........... What happen to me?

I don't know where should I go, I tried internet sales, like yahoo, ebay and blog but it doesn't work. I can't go for push cart or flea market as I have to take care my children at home. I can't assign my products to others as I don't trust them. What should I do?

Maybe I should just sit back and relax myself now. Clear my mind, fully concentrate for my family and put my own dream aside till ............. My dream will come true, one day...........

Kahang Organic Rice Eco Farm

I saw this beautiful rice padi field and surprisingly know that the organic farm is just somewhere nearby my home town, Kahang. It is very beautiful (from picture), and there are activities and programs for visitors. Other than padi field, you can also find dragon fruit farm, duck, chicken and rabbit farm in this 'Koref'.

I will pay a visit next month and show more photos next time.

It has been a year since my last post, time flies and there is big change in my life for this year.

First of all, I resigned from my job and become a stay home mum. My 2 girls are very happy for seeing me at home all the time. I don't have a maid at home and I have to do all the housechores by my own now. : ( So sad... by the gain poin is I lost weight, I can fit myself in one size smaller now. : )

A Happy Marriage (Part 2)

In the last article, we talked about some tips to keep in mind for a happy and lasting marriage.
Briefly, these were - being happy with yourself and your life before you can be capable of making your spouse happy, considering the new entity of "we" in a marriage without becoming co-dependent, leaving behind the emotional baggage of past relationships, and making your spouse your priority.

Today, let's look at more ways to keep your marriage rewarding and joyful. I'd like to emphasise again how important it is to ensure that your marriage is your top priority. You didn't get married to commute two hours a day, or work at the office 60 hours a week. You probably got married to share your life, your hopes, your dreams (not your bills) with that special someone.

During life's ups and especially during life's downs, keep in mind why you married in the first place. Not jobs, nor cars, nor your favorite sports team. At one time, your partner was the most important thing in this world to you. Act like it today and every day.

Don't compare. This holds true in your life as well as in your marriage. There will always be a couple that seems happier, wealthier, sexier, and more perfect than you two are. So what? Their happiness doesn't increase or diminish your happiness. Neither does their money, their jobs, their house, or their glamour.

All that matters is whether you and your spouse have created a relationship that works for you.
Don't wonder "what if?" Wondering what it would be like to be with another person-for a night or for a lifetime-is self-delusion and is really unfair to your spouse. You see other people socially when they are at their best. You see your spouse when he/she is at his best, her average, and sometimes at her worst. If you could swap mates, guess what? You'd see that person at his/her worst, and you probably wouldn't like what you see.

Commitment means no matter what. It's as simple as making the decision to be totally committed to your spouse and to the relationship. No matter what happens financially, or health wise, or otherwise. No matter what. Once the two of you have decided to stay "no matter what", there is no question of stay or go, yes or no. Now the emphasis is on problem solving. And all couples have problems. Happy couples learn to deal with their problems. Unhappy couples eventually just run away.

A happy marriage won't happen by itself. It takes intention, commitment, and practice. But the couples who have happy, blissful, and satisfying marriages are proof that it is possible. Just choose to be happy, and choose to be happily married.

A Happy Marriage (Part 1)

So you've found someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. And you've decided to get married.

There's no manual for a happy marriage, but you have a pretty good feeling that your love will help you weather the storms all relationships inevitably go through. In addition to that, here are some things to remember for a happy and healthy marriage.

1. It starts with you

The happier you are with yourself and your life, the more attractive you are to your partner. Another way to look at this is: if you were someone else, would you marry you? Start today to work on being the kind of person you would want to know, date, and marry. If you're not that kind of person, how can you expect your spouse to stay attracted or stay passionate?

2. There's you, there's him/her, and then there's we.

You don't have to give up your identity or be known as your spouse's partner.
It also doesn't work when two people each do their own thing without regard to their partner's wishes and feelings. Marriage is, and should be, more than cohabitation. As the marriage vows state, "two shall be as one". That "one" is neither you nor him. The "one" is a third entity: the relationship, the marriage, the "we". The "we" is what you share, what you have in common, the nurturing that cannot be provided on your own. Think companionship, intimacy, and sharing.

3. Leave behind your emotional baggage

Are you really over your previous relationship? If not, you can't fully commit to your spouse. Likewise, if you are still Daddy's little girl or Mommy's boy, you are not in control of your own life. Therefore, you cannot fully enter into an adult relationship of mutual sharing and support. You can't be accountable to your spouse if you have to keep pleasing Mommy or Daddy.

4. Your marriage comes first

Marriage is the strongest bond between two people.

Parents are here and one day they are gone. Children grow into adults and leave to start their own lives. Your spouse is only person who is meant to stay with you the rest of your time on this planet. Women who say their children come first are usually unable to let their children grow up and become independent adults. These women are always surprised when their mates get tired of being number two, and decide to leave for someone else who WILL put them first.

品玫瑰花茶做抗抑郁女人

茶叶店里常有颜色鲜艳的干玫瑰花出售，很多人由于不了解其作用而忽视了它。其实，玫瑰花是很好的药食同源的食物，女性平时常用它来泡水喝，有很多好处。尤其是月经期间情绪不佳、脸色黯淡，甚至是痛经等症状，都可以得到一定的缓解。

中医认为，玫瑰花味甘微苦、性温，最明显的功效就是理气解郁、活血散淤和调经止痛。此外，玫瑰花的药性非常温和，能够温养人的心肝血脉，舒发体内郁气，起到镇静、安抚、抗抑郁的功效。女性在月经前或月经期间常会有些情绪上的烦躁，喝点玫瑰花可以起到调节作用。在工作和生活压力越来越大的今天，即使不是月经期，也可以多喝点玫瑰花，安抚、稳定情绪。

对于女性来说，玫瑰花喝多了，还可以让自己的脸色同花瓣一样变得红润起来。这是因为玫瑰花有很强的行气活血、化淤、调和脏腑的作用。我们平时所说的脸色不好或脸上长斑、月经失调、痛经等症状，都和气血运行失常，淤滞于子宫或面部有关。一旦气血运行正常了，自然就会面色红润、身体健康。要想达到这种效果，具体做法是：每天坚持取玫瑰花15克泡水喝，气虚者可加入大枣3—5枚，或西洋参9克；肾虚者可加入枸杞子15克。

泡玫瑰花的时候，可以根据个人的口味，调入冰糖或蜂蜜，以减少玫瑰花的涩味，加强功效。需要提醒的是，玫瑰花最好不要与茶叶泡在一起喝。因为茶叶中有大量鞣酸，会影响玫瑰花舒肝解郁的功效。此外，由于玫瑰花活血散淤的作用比较强，月经量过多的人在经期最好不要饮用。

先生和太太都是誠懇又平凡的市場商販，求助的問題則使人忍不住感歎「怎麼會有人這樣？丈夫的困擾是：二十多年來，太太完全不准他回家看父母，也不讓孩子看祖父母，跟婆家完全鬧翻了。那還不打緊，太太每日照三餐對他叨念婆婆家過去的罪行，重複再重複也不厭倦，有時半夜心血來潮，還會把丈夫叫醒來叨念一番，丈夫已二十年未曾睡好覺、吃好飯。這位太太是一位「長男的媳婦」，向來勤儉持家，做牛做馬。婆家到底有多麼對不起太太呢？

對不起是一定有的，但聽來都是一些很小的事情，比如說：兄弟妯娌間曾合夥做生意，錢分得不公平，所以太太一直記得先生的大姐積欠她一整年的豆腐錢，「豆腐三十三塊，豆腐乾十五塊、豆腐皮十塊錢」，說好要給她的，但一直都沒有還，太太銘記在心，每天都在腦中重撥了一次算盤，竟沒有一天能忘。還有，婆家並沒有好好地幫太太坐月子，使她備覺委屈，這也是後來她不肯讓孩子認祖父母的理由：生出來的時候你們都沒有好好照顧我，憑什麼養大了之後要讓他們來認你？是她的邏輯。先生早期處理得也不得當。太太一抱怨先生的家人，先生基於孝道，就先把她打一頓再說，後來發現「打了還是繼續念」，終於不敵，轉而變成一個受害者。以前他打她，現在她念他，好像也是挺公平的。然而，她已經五十多歲了，在一個多小時的訪談過程中，提起的舊恨依然是豆腐乾與坐月子，聽久了讓我覺得很荒謬。連我都快把她的豆腐價錢背起來了，她卻一而再、再而三的咬牙切齒，陳述著自己的怨恨。

其實，年過半百的這一代台灣婦女，幾乎有百分之九十九，都走過婆家與先生的許多個對不起，她的遭遇，絕對不是最悲慘的，一大早走進公園裡訪問正在跳舞或練氣功的歐巴桑們，你一定可以找到不少命運比她壞幾倍的女人。其他更歹命的人可以在事過境遷後開開心心過自己的日子，而她卻不能，問題在哪裡呢？在她一波又一波的泣訴下，頭皮開始發麻的我只有一個結論，那就是：她的怨恨多年來一直累積，並沒有因為口頭的發洩而宣洩，她的記恨能力和生命力一樣堅強，已成了打不死的蟑螂。

有時我覺得，記恨能力很像基因遺傳，有些人天生健忘，什麼國仇家恨都無所謂，有些人就是喜歡此恨綿綿無絕期。這位太太說到後來，還把自己的關節炎以及靜脈曲張所帶來的疼痛，算進公婆沒有好好幫她坐月子的帳裡。她的恨意像細菌，在她的擴張解釋中分裂生殖，威力無可抵擋。生活圈子不大的人，眼界不寬，記恨能力也會特別強。古人說，前事不忘，後事之師。記取經驗和教訓是好習慣，但可不要光記恨而已。因為記恨是划不來的。恨比愛花力氣，沒有投資報酬率，還會讓周遭的人喘不過氣，愛會生愛，而恨會生恨，這是不變的道理。這些年來，她為恨所花的力氣，必然超過妯娌欠她的豆腐錢了吧。恨，那麼花力氣傷身體。

有些人的一生，似乎是為了來學習寬恕這個課題。命運對她並不仁慈。她和我的年齡差不多，卻已歷盡滄桑。她是我在廣播節目中，訪問過的一位朋友，湯秀璸小姐。我看了她的書「逆風飛舞」，主動爭取訪問她的機會，而她雖然費盡全力與末期癌症抗爭，卻也大方的克服萬難，來接受訪問。她進廣播室的第一句話是：「你看完我的書，覺得這個女人很笨吧。」依然柔嫩美麗的臉龐上，掛著洞然世事的微笑。我不想說假話，我對她點了頭。我很早就在報紙上看過她的個案。她自幼有類風溼性關節炎，在戀愛路上，雖然遭到家人反對，仍堅持與她的第一個男人Ｊ在一起。Ｊ是個醫學院學生，也是個優柔寡斷的男人，既想以「家人反對」理由和她分手，卻又不捨多年感情放下她，反反覆覆、波瀾起伏，卻還是瞞著家人結了婚。結了婚，卻不承認。常寫滿紙濃情蜜意的情書或紙條給她，卻同時又以未婚身分與數位女子暗通款曲。

這個婚姻，之所以會鬧上法庭，使人人震驚，是因為湯秀璸在得了初期乳癌時，曾經請教過自己在某大醫院擔任家醫科總醫師的丈夫，丈夫卻多次告訴她沒關係，且阻止她就醫，直到癌症末期、已難治癒。看在法律人的眼裡，這無疑是一場蓄意的謀殺。Ｊ曾為了離婚，用盡方法，而湯也為了挽回婚姻，不斷委屈求全，各種讓我覺得「一個受過高等教育的女子不應如此」的手法：比如，因為無法生育，跟妹妹要一個孩子當成自己的，要丈夫視為己出，想挽回外遇丈夫的心。替丈夫跟他追求的對象談判，願意接納他的齊人之福……這一切努力，當然拴不住一顆已經離開了的心。最後忍無可忍的她控告丈夫，這件事情進入司法程序時，因這位醫師的醫德令人髮指，有不少律師熱心幫忙。然而到了後來，湯秀璸卻選擇了寬恕，還向法官求情。官司未完，她已決定釋放。在與最難纏的病魔纏鬥時，她將她的經歷寫成書。「逆風飛舞」就是她用生命寫成的記事，坦誠且深刻。讓我心疼她的痛苦，也歎息她在漫長歲月中曾有的天真。

他使她的病情無可挽回，且她卻選擇寬恕，且她的寬恕並不膚淺，她說：寬恕不是一條容易走的路，它是不斷的來回擺盪，需要時間耐心的學習、滌除、釋放。她的寬恕，最大的意義並不只是原諒那個傷害她的人，而是放過自己。不再為傷害自己的事情受苦。不想再將自己剩餘的人生也賠上。花了那麼多時間，她體認到：「幸福可以有各種模式，不是非得把自己的人生依附在另一個人身上才能得到幸福，生命的寬廣及可能往往超乎我們的想像。」我不是她。但誰都知道，被傷害到這樣的地步，寬恕好難。然而，寬恕卻是一個被嚴重傷害的人，能夠送給自己的最寶貴的禮物。什麼是寬恕？寬恕不是忘記對方的錯，也不等於赦免。不是告訴自己，對方沒有錯。是拒絕他的繼續傷害，絕不表示他還可以傷害你。不是自責。也不等於跟對方和好。只是放棄以生氣來折磨自己，不再對憤怒說：歡迎再度光臨，不想再把往後歲月葬送給不美好的記憶。這才是寬恕。

我們不是湯秀璸，未曾受過那麼深的傷害，但人人都明白，寬恕多年前心靈上被砍傷的那一刀已經很難很難。但是，學會寬恕，最受益的還是自己。美國史丹福大學曾經開設過一個學習諒解的課程，近三百名成年人發現，上完課後，他們的精神壓力減輕了，莫名其妙的頭痛和腸胃不適都不再侵襲自己。

A bit disappointed on pastries, not much selection on cakes. But overall 气氛 was good. We have a lot of time to chit chat and eat in slow pace, no hurry.

年轻时吃了不少苦
老了还是忙忙碌碌

早上, 上班, 无大事发生.
下午, 在家弄西餐，猪排，鸡排，蔬菜汤，蒜泥面包和五色蔬菜粒。 not bad leh!
晚上, 老公教敏瑄功课. 只听到老公不耐烦的声音和敏瑄的哭声...... 我忍忍再忍...不理他们. 装成忙碌的再玩手机的游戏. :）

星期天, 晴
一大早（其实也已经９．３０了），　起床，刷牙，洗面，吃早餐，　敏瑄上课．　　莛喧和我去图书馆．　　
下午，去义安工艺学院听concert, Swiss Cottage Secondary School's Swiss Wind Band. 俊浩有参与．　　我们是捧他的场．　　出呼意料之外，非常好听．　　非常专业．　　值得一听！　　俊浩，加油哦！

晚餐，在我家吃椰浆饭，　阿强，阿华２家人都来．　　很好吃的一餐．　　辉还带小孩子们去玩直排滑轮．　我们聊天，阿华的辛苦没得到Jenny的欣赏，　还被评说不好吃！　　希望她只是开玩笑．

辉说他做不到放下工作来伺候老婆坐月子，　在家洗衣，煮饭带孩子．　　真的不容易．　又累又不讨好．

阿强也说他做不到天天在家煮饭，　扫地和洗衣．　　　阿华很伟大．　　真得很好．

清明节

清明节又到了，母亲去世已4年了，前些日子回家扫墓。
一切都没变。。。其实不一样了，妈妈不在，家不再温暖；
厨房不再热闹，不再飘香

从来没有忘记母亲，经常会想起也经常希望母亲还在世。
希望可以经常陪伴母亲说话，聊天
希望可以和母亲同去游山玩水
以前总以为还有很多时间，现在很后悔，很内疚

最近疯狂追看大长今，每天都看到半夜2 点。。。。。苦啊！

大长今非常好看，剧情吸引人。没有拖泥带水，没有情情爱爱，没有韩剧一贯的病和三角关系。里头的美味佳肴令人赞叹。难怪这么红。

最喜爱的角儿是连生不是长今。连生虽怕事，爱哭但善良，可爱又没有心机。

长金太累了，正如她自己说：人生由不得你，想轻松过日子可是切过得很辛苦。

After cycling at East Coast Park, we actually went to SPGG Clubhouse for swimming. At 12.30pm, the whole swimming only occupied by us! So hot, nobody will swim at this hour!

We had a wonderful day! Or I should say a busy day...........

Early in the morning 8.00am packed and ready to go East Coast for cycling. We had our breakfast at East Coast Park, we bought nasi lemak, fried bee hoon and cha siew bao for breakfast.

10.45am we rented 5 bicycles for Keong, Kathy, Phui, Sri and I. Cody ride her scooter and Jun Wen had roller blade. Daddy put Rico in front of his bike. We were all set for our journey.

I was so impressed by Cody, she was so cute. She ride her scooter all the way to the East Coast Jetty and back to the park all by herself, it took us about 1 and 1/2 hours to complete the whole journey. We knew she must be very tired but she told us she is fine. : )

Rico too, enjoyed the bicycle ride so much. Just she was a bit quiet but smiling all the way.

After cycling, we decided to swim at SPGG clubhouse at 12.30pm! My god! It's so hot! The whole swimming pool only 6 of us. Ooops.., sorry I didn't swim cos.........

Cody and Rico enjoyed so much for the swim.

After swim, we had our lunch at poolside cafe then we went to Wah's house to visit baby. : ) I took a few photos of baby. We took our dinner at downstairs' coffee shop and took Casper and Nicholas to our house. Jun Wen joined in to play RISK game with Casper and Nicholas and they has a night for playing computer, they decided not to sleep for the whole night. Rico fell slept early at the night.

Cody was having stomach upset the night, running in and out to the toilet. But lucky it was not diarrhea, it was just heaty caused the constipation. She was so adorable that she told me she is ok, just the motion very nauthy dont want to come out. She stayed outside to watch her brothers played games, she fell slept after a while. But woke up middle of the night (a few times) to go toilet. She finally released her big business at morning 6.45am! She was so happy to tell daddy and mummy of her 'achievement'.

So angry! can't stand with maid. They are all irresponsible woman. How can they let kids alone at home and went downstairs! Even though just collect letter but anything could happen during the 5 mins! Ooohhhh so furious with them. Last one like that and this one also did the same thing this morning. I was so worried and have to call Jun Hao and Jun Wen to rush to my home to check what happen. Lucky Cody called me back that she has back. Same excuses, threw rubbish and went to open letter box!

Cody and Rico were so frightened when they woke up at 9.30am and found nobody at home! I can't let such thing happen again, tonight I'm going to talk to her if she persist the same way I'm going to change maid.

现在, 尽力安排任何可以帮助她说话, 学习的方法我们都会尝试. 最近安排了家庭物理治疗到家里教导和帮助莛喧. 希望很快看到成果.

最近，好多新生宝宝。我家就2个；公司就有3个，还有2个还没生。今年好多产，是好消息吧！我呢，不打算跟风。也许将来。。。。唉！再说吧！

今天不用赶回家接Cody，整个星期都不用真是太好了！（学校假期 11-19 Mar 06）

我可以shopping, 去Library或者去大吃。。。。好多东西想做可是真不知道做那样先。嗯嗯。。。今晚要吃斋，可以在Jurong Point 走走然后去新开的图书馆。再去拜拜就回家。

明天可以。。。。。。还是明天再说吧！也许哪儿也不去，留在家也不错！

昨天是阿华的宝宝‘十二朝’ 根据我们客家人的习俗必须拜祭祖先。也乘这天来个家庭聚会，大吃一顿。哇哈哈！！

一早先到巴刹买猪脚，鸡，虾和菜。前一天已先煮好一大锅的黑醋姜，只须将猪脚放进锅里煮就可以了。弄了 1）黑醋猪脚，2）姜酒鸡， 3）蒜焖虾和豆腐， 4）五香肉卷，和 5）糯米饭

大家到来吃吃喝喝，聊一聊，就一天过去了。好累哦。。。。。。。。。

聪明，懂事，可爱，有性格，体贴，听话，友爱。。。。。。等等太多了。当然偶而也会发发小姐脾气，闹闹别忸和捣蛋。总的来说敏瑄是非常可爱的。

妈妈生气了，她会哄我开心。妹妹哭了，她会哄妹妹笑。爸爸回来了，她会拥抱爸爸。

We met Cody's Morries Allen English Teacher, she told us that Cody is doing very good in her class; especially in English reading. She can read not only P1 but P2 to P3 books with fluently. We are so proud of her. : )

For Rico, the consultant from Glowing seeds who had few years experiences in special education school told us that Rico has very good potential to enter mainstream school with special needs support group. They will try their best to support and coach Rico in her communication and social skills.

I'm looking forward to see Rico's progress in the next 3 months time.

I love kids, since young. It's natural and feminine and maternal love ( 母愛). If possible I mean with good financial support and I dont need to worry too much on Rico and with age possible too; I wish to have 3rd baby and hopefully is a boy too. Then it will complete my family, boy and girls. Girls can help mummy for house chores and shopping together. Boy can play golf with daddy, wash car with daddy and play boy's games with daddy.

Definitely, I dont wish to have baby at the age of 40 and above. It is very very tiring and tough, especially health concern for both mummy and baby. I'm 36 years old this year, if Rico still very dependance on me and needs a lot of coaching for her academy and life skill; I will give up the idea to have a 'didi'.

Cody started to sleep on her bed last night, she is a big girl now! Before sleep, she came in and aske us ' are you very happy that I dont have to sleep with you? Are you very excited because I'm not sleeping with you?'

I can feel that she is excited to sleep by herself and yet frightened to be alone by herself too. We told her we encouraged herto have her own bed because she is big girl now although we miss her and we assured her that she can always share our rooms as she wants. She smiled........ and happily go back to her own bed. : ) : )

This morning, my sweet little girl, cody told mummy that she loves her bed. She can see outside the window from her bed. She was counting the star and how many windows' lights still on before she sleep. And Cody told mummy that she will sleep by herself tonight.

As parents, we are happy that she is indepentance now and sad she is running away from us slowly .................

Yp, cody and rico had their hair cut done last night at Lan Fang's house. Rico is happy with her new hair style, she will smile so sweet when being praised.

No plan for holiday this coming school term break, no money and no time and dont know where to go too. I think we better stay at home, we seems like do not have enough time at home. I wish to have a quiet day at home, just listen to music, read book and make up my wardrobe. sigh..... so much things to clear from wardrobe. sigh........ will have a busy day again.

I started my special flower tea today after a long break. : ) Very special and I believe it helps release me from constipation and help to lose weight too. It is very simple ingredients, only green tea and rose bud (dried), good smell and taste a sour and a bit bitter only. : )

YP said we should have some private time for ourselves, I know but how to find the time. Last night after sent Cody for her piano class, we both sit down for a cup of coffee. Although it just 30mins, it was a relaxe moment for us.

Monday was a very busy day for YP and me. : (

8am we started our journey of the day, arrived Albert Complex at 9am to meet Glowing seeds to discuss Rico's education plan.

Leave GS around 10.00am, we had our breakfast at Mcdonalds at Bukit Timah Road. The next appointment was Rico's OT at Jurong East polyclinic.

We had our lunch at mum's 'Lei Cha' stall at Jurong East coffee shop and waiting for our next appoint at KK hospital at 2.45pm. We reached KK at 1.40pm waited for more than 2 hours to have Rico to see her ENT doctor. Rico's right ear hearing test failed........... because full of wax blocked her ear. We were prescribed olive oil to help soften her wax, going back 3 months later. sigh.......

The last appointment was to see a fortune teller for yp at 7.30pm. Everything is fine for him this year. : ) : ) We ended our day to have late dinner at 'zhu cha' nearby our place.

What a tired day... I was on medical leave the next day.

YP bought this beautiful mobile phone for me on 5th Feb 06. It has many function like video which Rico and Cody liked it very much. : ) : ) We took a lot of photos and also taped Rico's therapy session. so nice.... thanks dear....

Rico is very happy to see herself on screen.

Few days ago, bought thru. internet a keychain with 4 leaves clovers which said will bring good luck. There is this (below) poem for 4 leaf clover

I can't sleep last night, thinking on what to do for Rico. What will be the best for her. Yiuchi (OT) suggested to brush her daily (every 2 hours) to develop her senses on touch, she highly recommend this method. I was not sure whether to take her suggestion. I can't do the brush for Rico day time and I dont trush the maid to brush Rico. still thinking.......... have to let Yiuchi know next week...

Rico's speech therapist asked us to consider to put Rico to Special Education or School as her condition is not very good now. She is turning to 5 this june yet still not speaking.

I was sad............ do I really have to let Rico to attend Special School? I put this as my last choice...... not because of time or money, I just dont want Rico end up in Special School. I don't think Rico's condition is that bad.

Today, I rang up Glowingseed a private education/therapy centre for special need child. I will try out the home education for Rico before she turns to 5 this June. I'm meeting Ms Inn Inn from Glowingseed on 18 Feb 06.
